How to savor the flavor

The best way to savor Fastachi flavor is to enjoy our delectables immediately upon receipt.  If you have the will power to make them last, shield them from light and follow these tips to ensure they harbor their delectable goodness.

  • nuts:  place nuts in an airtight container or plastic bag, and store them in a cool dry place (away from heat and humidity), such as the cupboard or refrigerator; store separately from other foods with strong aromas. If you wish to save them for a longer time, place them in the freezer (nuts don't freeze)

  • dried fruits:  place dried fruits in an airtight container or plastic bag, and store them in a cool dry place (away from heat and humidity), such as the cupboard or refrigerator.

  • nut butters:  Nut butters do not need to be refrigerated and will not spoil. Store opened nut butter in a cool, dry place (kitchen cupboard) and use within three months. However, if you prefer, you may refrigerate.  Always stir before use, as the natural oils will separate from the nut butter.

  • chocolates:  when storing chocolates, make sure that it is wrapped in foil or plastic and kept in an air tight container. Choose a relatively dark place for storing the chocolate - an area that will not be hit by direct sunlight.  If you live in an area with unpredictable changes in temperature, the best alternative is to refrigerate.  However, make sure you place the chocolate in an airtight container or plastic bag, and away from foods with strong aromas.
