A felicitous find
These are a great substitute for fresh bananas. Bananas don't contain much Vitamin C to begin with, so drying them doesn't rob them of many volatile nutrients, but the process does concentrate the fruit sugars, making them taste more like candy while still being healthy. (People on a low-sugar diet shouldn't eat too many though:)
