All natural dried golden berries, also known as gooseberries or Incan berries, are a delicious, delightfully tart and sweet, chewy berry loaded with nutrients. Indegnous to high-altitude, tropical climates of Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador where the fruits grow wild, Golden Berries have only recently become widely introduced to other tropical and temperate climates. The golden berry grows within its own husk, and the fruit itself resembles a mini tomato. This highly nutritious superfruit is considered a "belly fat buster", and when incorporated into a healthy diet has many nutritional benefits.

Golden Berries are high in Complex B Vitamins which help burn fat and increase the metabolism and energy, as well as reducing stress and improving memory. They are an excellent source of anti-oxidants, which are effective in preventing age-related diseases. Golden Berries are also rich in Vitamin A (an anti-oxidant) that helps keep eyes and skin healthy, as well as Vitamin C, which is essential to one's health. The protein found in Golden Berries helps build body muscle and burn energy, resulting in less weight and more muscle. And the bioflavonoids found in Golden Berries boost the immune system and help protect the body.

The citrusy flavor and chewy texture of the golden berry makes a great addition to oatmeal, yogurt, salads, and muffins. Serve them atop a cheese platter, make golden berry jam for a Fastachi Nut Butter sandwich or a golden berry sauce to drizzle over pork, chocolate cake or vanilla ice cream. Or just eat them out of the bag as a snack. Every bite is a healthy bite
