Handcrafted from bean to bar in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Marou Faiseurs de Chocolat was among the first "bean to bar" concerns in Asia and one of the few in the world to make chocolate at origin. Using only beans from different regions of Vietnam, each chocolate variety has a very distinct flavor. The cacao beans from the jungle hills of Dong Nai Province make for a creamy bar with delicate notes of spice, and the sweet and sour flavors of a tropical fruit parfait.

Handcrafted from bean to bar in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Founded by Sam Maruta and Vincent Mourou , two French expats who escaped the corporate world and met by chance while in Vietnam. Marou Faiseurs de Chocolat was among the first "bean to bar" concerns in Asia and one of the few in the world to make chocolate at origin. Using only beans from different regions of Vietnam, each chocolate variety has a very distinct flavor. The jungle hills of Dong Nai Province lie northeast of Saigon, where avocado farmers cultivate a unique cacao. The beans make for a creamy bar with delicate notes of spice, and the sweet and sour flavors of a tropical fruit parfait.
