Walnut Butter Details

The texture of this walnut spread is both crumbly and incredibly creamy at the same time. Add a little honey and cinnamon, and your morning toast will never be the same.

Walnuts are high in omega-3 fats, antioxidants, and phytosterols. Walnuts are good for your heart, can help protect against cancer, and promote healthy brain function by reducing the risks of depression and age-related diseases, such as Alzheimer's.

Nut Butter Tips: The natural oils in walnut butter are very low; very little separation will take place. Stir as needed. Walnut spread does not need to be refrigerated and will not spoil. Store opened nut butter in a cool, dry place (kitchen cupboard) and use it within three months. However, if you prefer, you may refrigerate.

Our son is undergoing oral immune therapy to increase his tolerance for certain foods. Every morning he has to eat a certain amount of walnuts, which he does not enjoy....but he LOVES the walnut butter! And we are comforted to know that the walut butter contains no other allergens.

I'm sure this just from the texture of the walnuts but it's quite dry
Owner Response: Because we use raw walnuts and no added ingredients, the consistency of the butter is indeed dry and crumbly. However, you can add unflavored oil to make it more moist.
